These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Crawlab software, websites, and related services (collectively, the "Service") provided by Chongqing Core Digital Tech Limited (重庆科锐数研科技有限公司) ("Crawlab", "we", "us", or "our"). By creating an account, purchasing a license, or otherwise using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. Definitions
- "Software" means the Crawlab web crawler management platform, including updates we make available to you.
- "License" means the right to use the Software granted to you under these Terms and your chosen plan.
- "Subscription" means a recurring, time-limited License (for example, a monthly or annual subscription plan).
- "Order" means a purchase of a License or Subscription through the Service.
2. Eligibility and accounts
You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract to use the Service. You may register using an email and password or through a supported single sign-on provider (such as Google, GitHub, or WeChat).
You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for all activity that occurs under your account. Please notify us promptly of any unauthorized use.
3. Licenses and permitted use
Subject to your payment of the applicable fees and your compliance with these Terms, we grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and use the Software for your internal business or personal purposes, in accordance with the plan you purchased.
One-time license tiers grant a perpetual license to the version covered by your plan. Subscriptions grant a license only for the active Subscription period.
- You may not resell, sublicense, rent, or redistribute the Software or your license key.
- You may not circumvent, disable, or tamper with license validation or usage metering.
- You may not remove or alter any proprietary notices in the Software.
4. Acceptable use
Crawlab is a tool for managing web crawlers and data collection workflows. You are solely responsible for the crawlers you build and run, the targets you access, and the data you collect.
You agree to use the Service in compliance with all applicable laws, the terms of service and robots directives of the websites you access, and applicable data protection and intellectual property rights. You may not use the Service for any unlawful, infringing, or abusive purpose.
5. Orders, pricing, and payment
Prices are shown on the Service and may be denominated in US dollars or Chinese yuan depending on your region and payment method. International card and alternative payments are processed by our authorized reseller and merchant of record, Paddle.com; payments within China may be processed via WeChat Pay. Your purchase may also be subject to the payment provider's own terms.
You are responsible for any taxes, duties, or levies associated with your Order, except for taxes based on our net income. Where a merchant of record is used, applicable sales tax or VAT may be collected by that provider.
6. Subscriptions, renewals, and cancellation
Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period at the then-current price unless you cancel before the renewal date. You may cancel at any time, and the cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Access continues until the end of the period you have paid for.
7. Refunds
Refunds are governed by our Refund Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference and available at https://www.crawlab.io/refund.
8. Intellectual property
The Software, the Crawlab name and logo, and all related intellectual property are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by applicable laws. Except for the license expressly granted to you, no rights are transferred. Open-source components included in the Software remain governed by their respective licenses.
9. Disclaimers
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that it will meet your specific requirements.
10. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, data, or goodwill. Our total aggregate liability arising out of or relating to the Service will not exceed the amount you paid to us for the Service during the twelve (12) months preceding the event giving rise to the liability.
11. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service if you breach these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Software ends, though provisions that by their nature should survive (including intellectual property, disclaimers, and limitation of liability) will continue to apply.
12. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above. Material changes will be communicated where reasonably practicable. Your continued use of the Service after the changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
13. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the People's Republic of China, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service will be subject to the jurisdiction of the competent courts located in Chongqing, China.
